Microsofts recent bid for Yahoo! is going to be a massive facelift to the industry if it goes through. Not so much in the search department, Google will still maintain its huge dominance by pure market share.
Even if it goes through, who knows if there will be service consolidation. I guess the facelift would only occur if that happened.
