Pres A Vi.

So Friday night I got around to going to Pres A Vi. The food was great and the wine was awesome. I have to say, I think it is the second best scallops I have ever had. Michael Mina still reigns on the scallop front, but this was a close second. It's a really nice restaurant with a really nice scenery. It's kind of hard to see, but if you get a seat near the window you can see the Palace of Fine Arts. It's a bit tough during this time of year because the sun is setting in that general direction, so it blinds you a bit.

I highly recommend this restaurant, the only thing was I felt very out of place when I first got there. Not as bad as Michael Mina, but everyone there was mostly Caucasian. Not that I'm racist or anything, but I just felt a little awkward. Our waitress was nice though, she lent us ten dollars to pay for the valet. In return she got a huge tip.

Afterwards Moon and I went to watch Sunshine. She fell asleep. It's way more science fiction that I originally expected, but I have no qualms about that genre. So I enjoyed it. Danny Boyle is really good at making things chaotic. I'm a little bit miffed about his endings though. It seems like he just throws in random crap in the last twenty or thirty minutes of the movie. I mean, it works. But part of the time I couldn't figure out what's going on.

Got some stuff done to my car on Saturday. I went to my first ever GTI meet. Had to cut out early, but it was still cool. It makes me really want to lower my car now. I never realized how high off the ground it actually sits.

On Sunday I went to church. It was nice, it has been a while since I've been. Busy with sailing lessons and getting sick.

Wonderful weekend again.
