So I finally went to Slanted Door. Maybe it was hyped up too much or something. I mean, it was pretty good. I'm not going to argue with that. But the service could have been better. The decor was nice, and food was great. Someone opening the bathroom door for you helps also. Overall, I liked it and would consider going back. Price wise it wasn't too bad either.
I'm excited to take sailing lessons soon. I think it'll be awesome just to be out on the ocean wearing my pirate hat and an eye patch. I mean, got to dress the part right? Either that or bust out in all Nautica and make poses on the helm. Hopefully it all pans out.
Recently I've been wondering what am I doing? I never saw that movie Troy, but that one line from the commercial always sounded cool. Take it, it's yours. Is it better to be complacent, have faith, and just wait for life to send things your way? Or is it better to not wait, chase after your dreams whatever they may be? I find myself somewhere in the middle. I think I was the later a long time ago, but somewhere along this road I became the former. Now I feel as if I'm shifting to the later position again.
I'm looking forward to an exciting May and the beginning of a great summer.
