Waves.

So yes, another post. So while I was at the beach I was staring at the waves for a while. It was fun. I could stare at waves all day.

Waves come and go, and their only lasting mark is how far up the sand they go. You know, the tideline. And only the wave that reachest the furthest leaves a lasting mark, where the dry sand meets the wet sand. So many waves try, but only one makes it. Everynow and then another one will come and break that record though. Very much like life and how the world works.

Am I reading too much into this? I think not because I can reach even further.

It's funny how some waves will build up momentum, but timing is everything. A lot of times they can't reach their full potential because they are stopped by a receding wave. Same with life, timing is everything.

Moreoever, some waves crash too early. Timing again.

And finally there is the approach. Not so much on flat beaches, but if your beach has some rise and fall to it, coming from certain angles will make it easier to leave a mark.

So in life, how you approach and when you approach things is key.
