Merry December To You.

I pray for an accepting heart, in all conditions, in every aspect.

I struggle with images and notions of what my life should be. This is underlying about that, but I won't make it so. I just wanted to share that I've realized, for a while now, that I like doing things with my hands. Katherine says I have a compulsive need to be twiddling with something in my hands. At first, we attributed it to an old habit of mine. But maybe I just like doing things with my hands. I like building things. I like cooking. I look forward to working on my car. So where I ended up right now, it's not half bad. I get to do things with my hands.

Speaking of which, I decided to do a full maintenance on my car. More like, I don't want to shell out how much money the Subaru dealership is asking me. And I'd rather I do it than any plain old shop. There are only a few things that I think I will have problems with. I might have to get them to flush out the coolant system only because I can't seem to find a place to buy it. We'll see.

And to respond to some comments, the space heater is working nicely for me.
