Early Bird Catches The Worm.

I didn't go shopping the day after Thanksgiving, but Katherine stood in line at Best Buy. Even with standing in line many hours before they opened, she was unable to get a ticket to buy a laptop. How early do you have to get there to actually get it?

At work, certain pastries are hot items. You have to get in early or you won't be able to buy one. It's kind of weird.

But anyhows, it's gotten really cold really fast. I think in the last two days or so it's been really chilly, before that we were still experiencing that random summer phenomenon. It's kind of nice feeling the briskness of winter, but when it gets wet it's a bit hard to bear. Maybe it's just a matter of adjusting. But it's nice waking up and not having to get up. You can lie in the comfort of a warm bed. You don't get that same feeling or opportunity in the summer.

I think for that fact alone, I like being in my room. I have a space heater, so my room is warmer than most when I'm in it. So it's a fun feeling when I walk out of my room and then back into it. Hm... toasy.

In some sad news, I just found out that Richard Burns died the other day. Short article here.
