This post is dedicated to Katherine. She finally did it. She mustered up the will power to tolerate the horde of strangers pushing her and the almost yodling skills of Chris Martin. Because of this, I am the luckiest guy alive. Even though, I think half the time she was standing there with her arms crossed, off in her dreamland thinking about what she should buy next. Coldplay concert was awesome, but Katherine coming with me was more awesome.
I felt quite fortunate even before they went on stage actually. It was stuff along the lines of having eyes to see things.
There was this guy who kept pushing himself in front of us. At first, I was kind of upset. I mean, what gives. Gradually, I just kind of let it go. It doesn't matter all that much. I would eventually get a good view every now and then. Even then, the band members are so far away that it's not like you could really tell if it was or wasn't them. And on top of that, I still got my eyes. I mean, this guy did too. I'm just saying.
Much is to be said about seeing a concert. I think you learn a lot about a band seeing, or just hearing them live.
The entire place was packed. I mean like sardines. I took some pictures, a few of the crowd. Mostly of the band. I will post them up soon.
Fun times. Fun times.
