Picking Up The Peices.

For some good news, I'm starting to hear back from places I applied too. I'm hoping I get to interview with Mercer again. We will see. Even if I don't, I'm still happy for what I am getting. I'm not so worried about things now, but I do get kind of nervous and anxious now.

I've starting reading The Dark Tower more now. It's not as exciting as when I first started reading the series. The last few books have been a lot more fast paced though, but they start to show a lot of signs of Stephen King. Makes sense, he wrote them. But like creatures and monsters are more jacked up and messed up than mythical or fantasy like. It's still a good read though. I like it quite a bit.

The whole series is like seven books and King himself considers it his lifes work. If you are like me, a sucker for things that come in parts, then I highly suggest it. I have a weak spot for things that come in parts, but have a definite ending. I remember as a kid my favorite cartoons were the ones that where five days marathons. Always with the to be continued at the end. Those were the best. Especially for like Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, Tale Spin, and such. I was a bit disappointed that Beast Wars only had three parts at most for one espisode. But it was nice how it all tied together.

Maybe I just like to be rewarded for sticking around. I get a better understanding because I have prior knowledge. I like that feeling. That's probably why I read Terry Pratchett books. Little nuances about the world you pick up in one book and see later on in a different book. Pretty cool.

The weather is starting to warm up. How exciting.
