Blessed.

Valentine's Day was loads of fun. It is always wonderful to spend time with Katherine.

There has benn a lot of controversy regarding Bush's plan for Social Security. I think there is a bigger problem at hand though. The American public as a whole doesn't know how to save. I wish that there was some kind of education system in place regarding this. There are loads and loads of books on personal finance that go over this. Even private sector companies realize the importance of this. But no public education channels.

In fact, I was thinking that I should start up a program. It could be a source of income for me and I could educate people on the importance of saving. I was going to try and target college kids because as a demographic I feel like I relate to them better. Originally I was going to try and work with the CalSO people, to offer it at orientation and charge the parents of these kids a nominal fee. Something like five or ten dollars. For a really short, maybe half hour, lecture about saving. It would work well with orientation in my opinion. Logistically not completely thought out yet.

On an unrelated note, I had fun in Photoshop and made an ad.
