Deja Not So Vu.

So, this incident happened to me a couple of weeks ago. It's not really deja vu, so we can't call it that. But interesting none the less.

I would have to call myself a Northern California native. Despite living in the County of Orange for the last 18 months or so, I've never really ventured into Southern California outside of a few trips and random job interviews. On one of those trips, my good friend took me to the ghetto little El Salvador region to check out a pastrami place. It was good. How could I can't really remember. But we all know the best places to eat are usually in the ghettos.

So, a few weeks back I'm just driving around Los Angeles with Moon, I think we were looking for Best Buy. And lo and behold, we pass by this familiar looking establishment. And yes, it was that pastrami place. I'm not too excited about finding it, but more intrigued how despite no intention of my own, shadows of my past come to haunt me.

Similar experience happened this weekend. I actually drove past a hotel I stayed at for one of my interviews I had.

Really quite odd.
