It's funny not caring about the nba playoffs this year for some reason. Lebron is still king, but otherwise I have no interest. I kind of like the new terms like hombre and AK, well not that new.
So, I have been afk for a while. Yes, nerd speak. It's been a long while since my last update. I guess a lot if has to do with work. I'm not one to talk much about it, but I had a major project that was finally opened to the public. It was about five months worth of planning, communicating, and such. Well, five months in total, but actual down to work time was much less.
On top of that, I am in this negotiation to get more money. I know, I'm a greedy bastard. But it's what's important to me right now. It's kind of distracting to be in this negotiation. Honestly, I'm not even asking for that much. So, what gives.
What's more startling is it's me developing a backbone instead of just sitting there and accepting a crappy situation. I think I've changed my perspective on things a lot in the recent months. It's kind of exciting.
In other news, Europe is coming up soon. And how I felt like such an ignorant American. I mean, I didn't really think about it a lot. But I think in the back of my mind, I kept thinking that I could see all of Europe in a week or so. Seriously, what was I thinking? I finally got around to looking at the map, and dude that continent is pretty big.
So, it looks like I will only be in Spain and Paris. But I'm fine with that. I did want to take a trip to Germany and visit the VW factory, maybe take the ring in some lame rental car. But there is always another time. I really just want to sit somewhere and soak it all in. Smell those proverbial European roses.
On top of that, I'm coming home bitches. I'm going back to Cupertino in June, but I'm flying so I will have no car. That means Grace better drive me around or I will be bored. So if you are reading this, please? It also means I won't get to see some people I really want to see.
I'm taking Moon to the airport early tomorrow morning actually. Today was her last day of work, and she's on vacation for the next twenty odd days. I hope she has fun.
