No Country.

Right, so I've been gone for a while now. It's almost been a month. So much has happen, and it's almost pointless to recap. But basically I visited that desert of state Arizona twice in the span of two weeks. It was good to spend some time with family. The more I go through this life, the more and more I think about this phrase I said to my sister one time.

I don't remember the exact words, but the basic concept was that family is always there. I find that I was wiser at the time. But even, I think I've learned something. As you get older and older, many things will come and yes, family is always there. But as you get older and older, I think it becomes harder and harder to keep those bonds.

So today I watched No Country For Old Men. Prior to actually sitting down, I was having dinner with a special someone. We had this conversation about work and the office. To be honest, it was kind of a downer. I really don't want to go into specifics.

It was ironic though, we always see things, experiences and even movies, through our own eyes, or own interpretations. Sometimes I feel like there is No Country For Daniel. Where do I fit in?

I came down here to try and make something, or maybe to run away? Maybe it's too hard, it's too insurmountable. But I hate to think that. Nothing should be that way. At one point in time I told myself it was just to buy time, but I'm not that kind of person. Or am I? Can I just be complacent and do things just to pass the time? I'd hate to think that.

It's kind of tough now actually. Responsibilities and roles were shifted. Well, more like piled on me. I told someone and they said it was a promotion. Why don't I think so?

Right, so this is all over the place. It's also kind of vague, but give me a break. It's been a while.
