Connecting The Dots.

I'm wary about connecting the dots. Well, letting others connect the dots. Especially since I work at an online gaming company where lots of people have lots of questions and once they find an in, it's over.

In that sense, I don't really link this blog to anything that clearly says who I am or what I do. I'm wary about that.

Actions speak louder than words. That's my soapbox statement for today, and it's targetted at someone that probably does not read this.

I hate going there, but I never got my, to be honest somewhat entitled, pissed off yelling out.

In totally unrelated news, I think something about John's response to my older entry bugged me. Before I go further, this is no reflection of character. John, I think you are a good guy.

It boils down to rhetoric though. Tone, but tone is hard to see in text. I think the moment someone says they can't understand how you feel, it sound callous. Starting a statement with that line creates negative feelings I think.

Compare and contrast to how Jin started his comment with the implication of understanding. While in terms of content, I think Jin's comment is more associating blame on me, in the end it still comes out sounding nicer.

Rhetoric for the win!
