Nearness of you? Maybe.
So I was talking to a former coworker the other night. It's a matter of fact there are girls out there that go after guys with the money. If not, why would we have this term called gold digger.
But let's give them the benefit of the doubt. What really goes on in their head? For the extreme few, it's probably something about this guy is spending a great deal on money for me that's great. Maybe I can get some more, and I'll hang around until I find someone with more money willing to spend more on money.
Ok, but who doesn't like to have money spent on them? Is that far a stretch that you have to call someone a gold digger? Perhaps not.
But then the flip side comes into play. Aren't there girls out there that don't think they are a gold digger, but with a little stretch of the imagination are?
From experience, I can say that environment sets the mood. Conversations seem to flow better and easier at fancier restaurants than the simple kind. So, maybe the girl genuinely thinks she is having fun and enjoying herself with the guy, but in the end it's about the money and amount being spend on that dish right in front of her that make all the difference in the world.
Once again, perspective is king. While I'm in no way saying all girls are gold diggers, which I really do not believe. It's interesting to think that with a small stretch of the imagination it seems logical. I know some people are going to completely disagree with me, but like I said perspective is king.
So, back to my title. I want a girl who can have a fun time with me at McDonald's or In & Out. Equally as fun as those fancy restaurants. What does this mean? Maybe I'm only going to McDonald's on dates now.
How mundane and boring would that be. Environment affects my mood too I would imagine. So in reality, nothing changed. But it's just fun to think about.
This afternoon I went to some random bakery near my house. It made me sad to think about how long I've lived in this town... and how attached I've come to it. Moving to Irvine seems like a needed change for me, but at the same time I'm going to miss the small things about Cupertino. Near that random bakery there is a random produce market. I went there and bought a piece of candy. I will miss doing something so simple as that.

we WOULD be able to go to in n out...but SOMEONE is abandoning me and going to irvine....what's so great about irvine anyway? yea that's right all the yummy pearl tea places...mmmm pearl milk tea....yummmm
How about Sonic? I think that Sonic is awesome!
I think that In & Out is better than Sonics based on quality. Sonics wins on variety, but it's not that hard to beat In & Out. Plus, I hear they are everywhere everywhere else but California. So boring. Now, wait until I get some Chik-Fil-A.
