Expectations.

So yes, two entries in one day. I guess there is some stuff going on in my head that really isn't finding a venue of exhaustion.

A while back I wrote an entry about waves. Actually, more than a year ago. Basically I talked about how timing is so important and everything. I think the flip side of that precious coin called timing is expectations. Expectations need to sync up and meet at the right points or else it spells disaster.

I used to say I have no expectations. I think that was a lie. I realize I have quite a bit of expectations. At least in people I care about. It's this concept of cordiality I think. I have no expectations of people I care nothing about because I'm trying to be polite or something. But when that is thrown out the window then expectations come in I guess.

Recently I rewatched the first season of How I Met Your Mother. That show really is great. I keep feeling that I related to so many of the characters on many different levels. Maybe that's why I like it so.
