No, I was not subpoenaed. But I just saw that word and decided I should add it to my vocabularly.
So I've been feeling a bit disenchanted with work. I was all set for this business trip coming up. But then out of nowhere our COO decided to cancel it because of political reasons. And I don't mean political reasons involving world politics, I'm talking about just between people.
It's frustrating because I personally live by the mantra is you say you will do something then you should do it. That is why I don't like to talk a lot about things that I'm starting on, I'm rather concerned that it will not follow through.
It kind of took the wind out of my sails. Motivation to work sort of just got lost after hearing it. I'm trying hard to get it back, but I really am beginning to feel what is the point. Things keep changing so there is never a chance to gain momentum.
On the bright side, I guess I'm still taking part in those sailing lessons. More wind in the sails please.
