Sometimes I go home and wish I had someone special waiting for me. It's a sad feeling.

Anyways, last night I was at work until 2am. These two weeks are going to be long. But it was so nice driving home last night. There was no one on the road and I just opened her up. Letting her rev a little higher than normal. I really enjoy driving my car these days. It's one of the few passions I have in my life these days.

I just thought I would share my new land speed record. And before anyone asks, there really was no one on the road. My last record was 120mph in my first car. I have to admit, it was a nice car for a first car. At the time I didn't think so, but now it seems like such a girls car. Even so, it had pretty decent power for a car like that. Come to think of it, it has the same amount of power as I have now, just back then it was on a Honda engine.

Anyways, the new record is 140mph. At least according to the spedometer. So take into error I'd say it was closer to 130mph. Things just go by so fast. I think I could have gone faster, but I ran out of straight road and I needed to exit. It made me want a Bugatti Veyron so I could break 220mph. Just imagining that speed sends shivers down my spine.

In all honesty though, I like the initial pull from zero to sixty more than hitting top speeds. Maybe it is time to get a bike.
