Coachella Best Man

So I watch this television show called How I Met Your Mother. It's so awesome. I think it may have to do with timing. Somethings just speak to you more at certain points in your life. So I guess this television spoke really spoke to me at that point.

Anyways, there is a character in the show getting married. He has to decide who is going to be his best man. For me, it was a no brainer. But watching the show got me to thinking what really is a best man? What qualifies someone to be your best man. I think it's not just if they are your best friend. I really think it takes more.

I came to the conclusion that whenever I get around to getting married, my best man has to be someone who would be willing to go to great lengths to preserve what I have with whoever I'm getting married. I mean, I never thought of it too much. I am one of those people that takes a backseat approach to many things. I like to let people figure it out themselves. I like people letting me figure it out myself.

I'm reminded of Serendipity. After entourage, who doesn't love Jeremy Piven. But his character is what I imagine a best man to be. Ok, so not like it was the best story in relation to what I just said. I guess it's more complicated than it seems.

I hate how I just used that word.

Anyways, I've been itching to go to Coachella. But I am way late on the ticket thing so they are all sold out. Maybe next year.
