Resolutions.

Originally I wanted to make a post before the New Year rolled around, but things kept me busy. So I was not able to update. It's actually been a long time since I last updated with anything. I now understand how easy it is for people to stop updating completely. Once you haven't for a while, it's hard to get going again I think.

Christmas vacation was a load of fun. I can't remember everything that happened, and it would take a while to write it all down. Let's just leave it at fun times.

So this year I decided to have some resolutions. Every year I never have them. I figure that I might as well take a stab at having official resolutions. It helps to have them, so I've heard. According to some numbers your chances of achieving your goals increase if you put them in resolution form.

I'm not much for lists in the blog, so I'll just talk about then in prose. First off, I want to lose weight. I am weighing in at a quite hefty number right now, and I want to bring it down to 150 lbs. Secondly, I wanted to get out of some serious debt. I got myself into quite a big hole towards the end of last year, and now it's the upward struggle to get out. Most importantly with these two goals is to sustain the change also. So, stay in shape and stay out of debt.

I also would like read the Bible in one year. This was actually a goal for last year that was never put into resolution form. Last two years actually. So this year it is on the official resolution list.

Fourthly, I want to learn guitar. I think it'll be fun. These are all the personal self improvement resolutions I have. I also have a personal relationship one and a professional work life one. But, I'll keep those to myself for now.
