More Weddings.

It has been a long, but exciting weekend.

It all started on a dark and stormy night, only it wasn't dark or stormy. Come to think of it, it wasn't even night. Thursday I had my barista training class. I could not believe the level of difference in emphasis on quality at my current employer compared to my previous employer in the same industry. Simply amazing.

Then Friday I head down to Monterey Bay to visit the jellyfish and tuna. My cousin from Taiwan, who I hadn't seen in almost ten years, was in the Bay Area. So we did touristy things. On the way down, stuck in major random traffic. Ended up getting to the giant fish tank 45 minutes before closing. Luckily we got a special rate because of that.

Afterward, all of us went to dinner and hung out watching a futuristic Korean movie, that was mostly in Japanese. Odd indeed. If I told you the story, you wouldn't appreciate it. So I won't bother.

Saturday was Mary and Jin's wedding. It was lots of fun. It was nice to see everyone pitch in and help out to make it a blast. Afterwards, it was an exciting car ride with Daniel Yu down to Stanford. The back smelled a lot like alcohol if you ask me. After a lot of meandering through Stanford roads, in the dark, unable to see builing numbers, we finally got him to his destination.

And Sunday was a giant clash against them Blue Angels. San Francisco and surrounding areas were packed. Grabbed some brunch at Cheesecake and then ran around the city doing tourist things, but getting moted at every turn by mass hordes of people wanting to see the Blue Angels.

Dinner back in Emeryville where Mandy finally showed up. It was nice. Four cousins, a cousin in law, a maybe cousin in law, and a waiter named Daniel. What a fun filled weekend indeed. Now I'm at one of those, I need a vacation from the vacation type scenarios. But it's ok, I get time to sleep in tomorrow if I need too.
