Against The Trend.

So new Kanye West drops tomorrow, or so I remember. I wonder how his sophomore effort will be. It's got a lot to live up to.

I recently read an article about him, and how he is the counter rap character. Completely different childhood growing up and what not. It got me comparing him to Eminem. These two guys have found phenomenal success going against the mainstream image of what a rapper is. One is characterized as not being a hussler, and the other one is white. I think it's pretty cool how both of them, by going against the trend, have made it so big.

Makes you wonder, what about life? How much more awesome is it, for someone to succeed in life by going against the trend?

And yes, succeed is a very ambiguous term.
