Crazy Weeds.

I'm so excited. I hope it's not all for nothing though.

This morning I decided I was going to work on the yard. As part of my responsibilities of living at home is taking care of both the frontyard and backyard. The frontyard is in decent shape, a bit overgrown at this point but for the most part I take care of it. I think I haven't touched the backyard until this morning.

There was a huge load of weeds, and they were huge. I took some pictures. They completely enveloped one plant, and I didn't realize it was there until I started pulling them out. I don't know how this plant managed to survive.

The odd thing is that these are not the biggest weeds I've come across. I remember as a kid we used to have like huge weed bushes in the backyard. This was all in Texas. I imagine it being so much harder to maintain those huge lawns compared to the small ones we have in California.
