Papermate owns Bic.

So I had this pack of Bic ballpoint pens. I used like three of them when I first opened the pack, not bad pens. Pretty decent for the price I paid in terms of writing quality. I was happy with them. I went through all three, took me a couple of months because I use other pens too. So the other night I was going to open up a new one and start using it. I start writing with it and notice it starts fading away. I guess the ink had dried up. Oh well, pick up another. The same thing happens. Here is when I start doubting the quality of these pens. Turns out the whole pack had dried out, I don't know about you but in my opinion that is pretty crappy, even for a crappy pen.

So I bought a pack of cheap Papermate pens. They actually right a lot better than the Bic pens. Now the only test remains is will the rest of the pens in the pack be usable after sitting there for a couple of months.
